"Oh boy! Everyone thinks they're Irish on St. Patty's Day!"and you'd be right. BUT, I am married to an Irishman and all my children are half Irish. Black Irish, or BL-Irish as we call them, is a combination or Spanish from the Moors and Irish. Look it up! I'm not kidding. The term "Black" was given because the babies were born with black hair, brown eyes and those lovely Irish freckles :)
